About Academic Staff Affairs Office

    A faculty member is anyone who holds a high academic qualification in one of the fields of applied basic sciences or humanities, undertakes work required by the public interest, and holds one of the academic degrees stipulated in the Higher Education Regulations (2010/501). Academic degrees and their equivalents are determined. Job grades are as follows according to the Higher Education Regulations (2010/501) as follows:

• Professor: Fourteen
• Associate Professor: Thirteen
• Assistant Professor: Twelve
• Lecturer: Eleven
• Assistant Lecturer: Ten
• Teaching assistant: Nine
